What we do

We provide comprehensive formal and informal assessments, impairment-based therapy, and functional approaches to condition management and strategies based on current evidence.

We set individualised goals with you (and your family or carers).

We use therapy outcome measures to track your progress.

Your initial assessment may take longer than a regular therapy session so that all of the information needed can be gained and analysed. We then agree on what kind of therapy will be useful and enjoyable for you and how many sessions to plan in the first instance.

We then review how you are getting on and what to do next. The number of sessions needed and over what time period is different for each person.

A summary or report can be provided for you outlining your communication or swallow difficulties and the speech therapy input you have had, and its results.

If you have private healthcare insurance through any of the following insurers, I can provide speech therapy services;

  • Aviva
  • Vitality Health

Speak to your insurer and let them know I am registered on the Private Practice Register.
